Easy-going and organized PhD Student

I'm a very easy-going, friendly and organized Brazilian who has just arrived in London to do part of my PhD research at City, University of London. I'm looking for clean and comfortable place to call home for the next 6/7 months, ideally around Farringdon / Islington. Preference given for furnished double room. Although I'm anticipating a busy work routine, I enjoy good talks and getting together when possible. I'm a big fan of reading, history, good food and drinks.
