Double room in spacious home

Double room overlooking the garden in a fun creative household. Large house with living room, dining room and a great garden for relaxing in.

The bedroom has a double bed with storage underneath and a wardrobe. We can include a bedside table and desk if required.

The living room has comfy sofas and a TV, whilst the dining room has a really long dining table (perfect for socializing or working on). There is also a piano.

There is a large kitchen with plenty of storage and a utility area with a new washer/dryer + fridge. We have a decent sized garden with a big BBQ and a big communal outdoor table.

There are 5 of us in the house currently (not counting our departing housemate), mostly on the LGBTQ+ spectrum…

Myself and my partner Afaan have relatively recently moved in to the property. We both work in media distribution (+one of us moonlights as a DJ and events promoter). The other housemates are Jamie, an actor, Pod, an photo editor/artist and Sarah, a trained dancer.

Between us you can find interests in music, clubbing, film, travel, theatre and generally making the most out of living in London.

It’s a really nice atmosphere in the house and we are generally quite laid back, relaxed and fairly sociable. We keep the communal areas clean and tidy, but are tolerant of imperfections. As an active household with friends coming to visit, dinner parties and musical interests, it is definitely not a monastery, but it is usually a fairly calm environment.

Most bills included (Council tax, TV license, Water & Internet + professional cleaner). We have super fast 1 Gig Virgin Broadband (+TV).

Gas & Electric are not included and we all contribute to the expenses for cleaning products and toilet paper.

The house benefits from being very close to not one, but two parks. Lordship Recreation ground which includes an outdoor gym, Table Tennis plus a Parkrun on Saturday mornings. Bruce Castle Park has tennis courts and the historic Bruce Castle (+museum).

Bruce Grove station (Overground) is just over 10 minutes walk away and Seven Sisters (Victoria line) is also walkable. Wood Green and Turnpike Line (Piccadilly Line) are accessible by buses from the end of the road, which also go to Dalston, Stoke Newington and Walthamstow. You will also find a couple of mini-supermarkets and a selection of eateries 2 minutes walk away. On street parking available with a permit from the council.
