Looking for a flatmate -- open-minded as to wherein the UK

American arriving in early February 2025. Trans*, soon-to-be in exile in a sense (bc of what's happening with the incoming presidential administration), and the London area is my first stop. 43, lawyer (not practicing right now), and my husband (a European himself) is staying behind in the San Francisco Bay Area. Looking for a roommate or little apartment sitch to get my initial footing for between 4-6 months in London and environs. I'm an avid athlete (racquetsports and rowing) and I enjoy conversing, socializing, and making new friends. Long time vegetarian and can do just fine in vegan environments too. Trying to keep my total monthly rent under £1000.
