TL;DR: genderfluid, pansexual UCL Masters student looking for a room, starting in September.
Hi, my name is Adriana (they/them, 23). I am starting an MSc Disaster, Risk and Resilience at UCL this September and so need to move to London! I would want to move in in the first two weeks of the month (either before the 8th or after the 12th of September, as I am busy that weekend).
I need the room to be furnished: for me that means a bed (preferably a double), a desk and at least a wardrobe or chest of drawers. For the rest of the house I'd prefer a shared living room but at this point I'm not picky ahaha; the kitchen needs to have a freezer as well as a fridge and the house needs to have free access to a washing machine. Not fussy on a drying one.
Since I will be a student at UCL I would prefer to be close to the main Bloomsbury campus or very close to an underground station (10mins walking max) that has one of the following lines: metro line, city line, circle line, northern line or Victoria. Picadilly would be alright too but not the best.
- About Me -
I am Portuguese but I have been living in Birmingham, UK, for the last 5 years for my Undergrad, renting the whole time. I speak Portuguese and English fluenty and I am in the process of picking up french again.
I tend to keep to myself but I am not anti-social and am happy to share a meal or a drink if that's the kind of household I am joining! I enjoy going out or at times having a friend or two over for a meal and a movie night, but I am not big on hosting parties.
I like going to the gym and regularly play RPGs and go to LARP events.
I have no known allergies and am okay with pets so if you have one that will not be an issue for me. I have also lived with celiacs before and know how to take care. I like to keep my spaces tidy and organised. I have no physical accessibility needs.
I hope we can be future housemates and I can't wait to hear from you!
